Popvue

Terms of use

Last updated 28 October 2026

In short: Popvue is a player for a playlist you already have. It sells no channels and includes no content, so what you watch, and your right to watch it, is between you and your provider.

These terms

These terms apply to the Popvue app for iPhone and iPad and to this website. By downloading or using Popvue you agree to them. Popvue is licensed to you, not sold, under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which is the licence the app opens from Terms of Use in its Settings. Where these terms say more than that agreement, these terms apply as well.

What Popvue is

Popvue is a video player. It plays the IPTV playlist you add, as an M3U link or an Xtream Codes login, and shows the channels, films, series and TV guide that playlist carries. Popvue does not provide, sell, host, index or recommend any channels, films or other content, and it has no playlists of its own.

The pictures on this website come from the Blender Foundation's open movies and from demo channels made up for the pictures. They show what the app looks like, not what it contains.

Your playlist and your provider

To use Popvue you need a playlist from a provider of your own. Your agreement with that provider governs what it supplies, its price, its availability and what you may do with it. Popvue has no part in it and cannot help with a provider's content, billing or service.

You are responsible for the playlist you add and for having the right to watch what it contains, under the laws that apply to you. Do not use Popvue to watch, download or distribute anything you do not have the right to. Popvue plays what you give it and cannot check your rights for you.

Streams, artwork, guides and subtitles are loaded from your provider and from the services named in the privacy policy. Whether they work, and how well, depends on them.

Popvue Pro

Popvue Pro is an in-app purchase sold through the App Store, as a subscription or as a one-time purchase where offered. Apple takes the payment under your Apple Account and its own terms. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you turn off renewal in your Apple Account settings at least 24 hours before it ends, and any free trial converts to a paid subscription the same way unless cancelled before it ends. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.

Pro unlocks features on every device signed in to the same Apple Account. What you have already added keeps working if Pro lapses; only the Pro features switch off.

Using Popvue

You may use Popvue for your own, personal viewing. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer or redistribute the app, interfere with its operation or with the services it uses, or use it in a way that breaks the law or someone else's rights.

Downloads are kept on your device for your own offline viewing of content you have the right to watch, and are removed when the playlist that supplied them is removed.

No warranty

Popvue is provided as it is. Its developer makes no promise that it will work with every playlist, provider, stream or device, that it will be free of errors, or that any content will be available. Formats, servers and services outside Popvue change, and the app may stop working with some of them.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Popvue's developer is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the app or of this website, from any content you watch through it, or from the acts of your provider or of any other service the app connects to. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing takes away rights you have as a consumer.

This website

You may read and link to this website freely. Its text, design and the Popvue name and logo belong to Popvue's developer. The film stills on it are the Blender Foundation's, under the Creative Commons Attribution licence, and are credited on the open source page.

Changes

These terms may change when the app does. The current version is always on this page, with its date at the top, and your continued use of Popvue after a change means you accept it.

Contact

Popvue is published by the developer named on its page in the App Store. For anything about these terms, write to support@popvue.app, or use Contact support in Popvue's Settings, under About.
